The Familiars | Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson

This is a brilliant series, that is a perfect mix of magic and animals. All magical creatures have their own 'power' for example; Aldwyn, and cat who is both telekinetic, and telepathic. Skylar is a blue jay, who is an illusionist, and Gilbert is a Tree Frog who can see the past and future in puddles. These are the three protagonists, and they have to defeat the queens evil rabbit- Paksahara, a shape-shifter, as the familiars' owners are kidnapped. The trio encounter many obstacles such as undead animals, traitors, and curses. This is a very imaginative series, and you should read this if you like magic, as it is one of the best worlds. sadly though, they probably won't be releasing any more books, as  the last one - Palace of  Dreams was released in 2014, even though it technically said there would be more books.

Like the book before- Oliver, this is another funny, and heart-warming tale, that is a pleasure to read. Based after the events of Oliver, Charlie is a young cat, who has to go on holiday with his family who are in a bit of a mess. The Wind in the Willows | Kenneth Grahame

This book is a classic, though not tough, or long, like Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte, or Oliver Twist, by Charles Dickens, but rather, a fun simple read wich can be enjoyed by everyone. In this book, you join Mole, Ratty, Badger, and Toad by the Riverbank, as they go on countless adventures, and have fun. As I said, this is a nice easy read, which anyone can enjoy, as it uses interesting language, and has a original, fun plot. The Ark Plan | Laura Martin

This is a brilliant take on Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park. After scientist brought the dinosaurs back, 99.9% humanity was destroyed, and forced into underground bomb shelters, originally made for the chance of a nuclear fallout. Sky, a resident of one of these shelters, receives a message from her disappeared father, and she needs to deliver it. Sky is an interesting character, as she sometimes even pity's the dinosaurs, which is unlike all the other characters. Laura Martin really manages to somehow make earth seem so alien, and weird, and I love it.
