How to Train Your Dragon | Cressida Cowell

This is quite a good series, though it is almost completely different to the films/TV series. For example- at the start the dragons are not fighting the vikings, and the dragons are cat-sized. Hiccup Horrendus Haddock III is a viking boy, and when he finds his dragon, it turns out to be the most basic Basic Brown dragon. Hiccup goes on many adventures, and fights the most repetitive, annoying villain ever; Alvin the Treacherous, who gets really boring and has the most ridiculous schemes. This is quite a good start to those interested in dragons, and I think the series is quite good, but I just don't rave about it, or particularly love it like other people, especially at  the end where there are weird things about dragon enslavement, and dragon war, and the king of the wilderwest, but it is  still quite good.
