Eldest | Christopher Paolini

This is another great book in the Inheritance Series, and may be better than the first. In this book Eragon has to travel to Ellesmera and learn from the elves, the mourning sage and the cripple who is  whole. Murtagh and  the twins go missing, and Ajihad dies early in the book, leaving the Varden to Nasuada. The book is another adventure, that gets better as it progresses, and the perspective sporadically switches from Eragon, to Roran, to Nasuada. I think that some of the best things in this book are the many twists, especially the shocking twist at the end. This is a fantastic book with great new imaginative characters. I love this book

Like the book before- Oliver, this is another funny, and heart-warming tale, that is a pleasure to read. Based after the events of Oliver, Charlie is a young cat, who has to go on holiday with his family who are in a bit of a mess. Charlie has to encounter various threats and challenges, such as seagulls, other cats, and the vet. Again this book really benefits, having it from the cat's perspective, which makes it more interesting and fun. Fans of other cat books will most likely enjoy this. This is a fantastic story of innocence in a time of death and horror. The Boy in the Striped Pajamas is a book, based in Germany during the second world war. It shows Bruno- a young boy, moving because of his father job. I will not say anymore about the story, as I may ruin the book. This book is brilliant, slowly building up tension, gets a bit quicker, then comes to a lethal stop, and until the end, you are left wondering about something. Homestuck Book 1: Acts 1 & 2 | Andrew Hussie

Homestuck originated as a webcomic and I wouldn't recommend it to people without any prior knowledge of the series beforehand as it is notorious for having a ridiculously complex plot. The first book follows John Egbert, Rose Lalonde and Dave Strider: Three kids each with their own separate jokes, gimmicks and quirks. On his birthday, John receives a beta copy of a game called Sburb, which affects the real world. Rose and John play it, and then everything spirals into madness. The book is rather funny though some of the humour has aged a fair bit  considering it has many pop culture references from the noughties which aren't exactly as relevant now as  they were when Homestuck was conceived. The paper is really good quality and it's very hardy and durable (you really seem to get your money's worth). At the bottom of each page there are notes based on the panels  above written by Andrew Hussie and they remind me of post-dev-notes sometimes they add to the comedy, but
